At Crofthead, we have something to offer the whole family. With extensive facilities and everything you need for your holiday, you can choose to relax at the park for a week, or if you want to explore the area, there are a range of local attractions only a short drive away.

At Crofthead Holiday Park we aim to offer our visitors the full holiday package, with a range of facilities to suit the whole family. Our stunning new Coffee Lounge and reception area is the perfect place to relax whilst enjoying a coffee and cake. We have a large play park with a mini mugger pitch for the kids as well as an 18 hole crazy golf course and outdoor gym equipment. We also have laundry facilities and our on-site shop has everything you will need for your stay at Crofthead.

Burns Centre

This award winning visitor centre tells the story of the connections between Robert Burns and the town of Dumfries. The well-researched exhibition is illuminated by many original documents and relics of the poet.

Heads of Ayr Farm Park

Whatever the weather – you’ll find plenty to see and do, with activities for all ages. There are almost 50 different types of animal to be seen.

Dunure Castle

The village of Dunure is located 5 miles (8km) north west of Maybole in South Ayrshire. This fishing village is a fairly recent addition to the coastline, dating from the early 19th century.

Fishing hamlet of Maidens

Maidens is a fishing village at the southern end of Maidenhead Bay 2 miles north of Turnberry and 5 miles west of Maybole. The village retains an old world air of peace and tranquility and is a favourite spot for artists and camera enthusiasts.

Coyle Water Fishery

With 2 Lochans stocked weekly with top quality fish renowned for their hard fighting qualities. 2 Lochans and a small rearing pond, we have something to offer everyone.

Gemmell's Garden Centre

Located only 20 minutes from Ayr and Kilmarnock with lots to do from indulging in some delicious meals, snacks, coffee and cakes at our newly refurbished coffee shop to gardening and an outdoor fun play area for kids. A great day out for all the family from kids to grandparents.
