Garden centres are a must when visiting Ayr. Half a mile from Crofthead, a large Dobbies with a coffee shop and aquatic centre can be found. A mere 10 minutes along the A70, Nurseries Direct is a delightful garden centre to browse through and lunch at. The homemade cakes are fantastic! Nurseries Direct also boasts a really well equipped playpark for the kids.
